On September 13th, a training convention was held on the campus of dinghuaimeng for communicating the specifications of data collection on talent cultivation status. More than 50 teachers from across the province who are in charge of data collection attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Yangzhuo, vice director school office.
Niuyutao,vice president of the university said that tedious though it was, data collection was very significant to us because it was an indicator of our talent cultivating,an index of school-running. By analyzing the data, we could get a clear understanding of our development situation and tendency, supervise the quality of our teaching and make self assessment. He emphasized that all the branchschools should be accurate in their data meanwhile be stable in the personalities responsible for data collection.
Doctor Niuyang from the centre of Jiangsu data collection and analysis illustrated ingreat detail this work in terms of platform adjustment, specifications of form-filling,possible errors, data association and rationalization analysis, etc. after that,Yangzhuo school office director assigned the tasks, clarified the requirements and made some explanations for possible problems. In the afternoon,conventioneers had a practical operation on the computers and a discussion on the details of data collection.
