In order to enhance out service to enterprises and to expand the cooperation inindustry-university research, Wu Guanglin led a team of teachers and directors from various departments and paid a visit to 5 enterprises including Jiangsu Institute of environmental science, Jiangsu Wangchun beauty industry, Suning Commerce group, Jiangsu Loup incorporated company and Jiangsu TV station,channel 5. A detailed communication was made. Wu Guanglin introduced the recent development of our university and expressed the emphasis on the cooperation,confirming the importance of scientific innovation and social service to ouropen university. We have laid a foundation in industry-university cooperationand made some achievement, Mr. Wu thanked their support to our work andexpressed wish in further cooperation, both parties got involved in a thoroughdiscussion on topics of the cooperation model, co-construction of a cooperationplatform, joint development of projects, and cultivation in teachers’competences.
In communication with Jiangsu Institute of Environmental Science, both partiesdiscussed on co-building a research platform, constructing an environmentalmonitoring station.With Wangcun BeautyIndustry, we talked about the current situation and development tendency in thebeauty industry, expressing our intention of further cooperation in medicalcosmetology. With Suning Commerce Corporation， we emphasized the co-building logisticsresearch institute, establishing research interests in intelligentizedlogistics, maintenance of grassroots talents, flow management in logistics,refinement on spot and normalization in research project.
Wu Guanglin said that we should enhance our level of scientific research and communityservice by means of an intensive cooperation with high-level enterprises, andexplore new channels of insustry-university research.
