Sinceits establishment, School of Information and ElectromechanicalEngineering (SIEE) has always persisted in service-aiming and job-orientationand adhered to School-enterprise cooperation and work-study combination.It attaches great importance to developing students'moral quality and practical skills and makes efforts to train students to behighly qualified applied talents who can do things, cooperate well and haveskills.
SIEEhas a strong teaching staff ，with a total of 43 full-time teachers, including 5 professors, aprovincial famous teacher, 16 associate professors, 3 teachers with doctor’s degree,33 teachers with master's degree, 2 school academic leaders, 2 training objectsof young and middle-aged academic leaders of Qinglan Project of Jiangsuprovince.
SIEEoffers six programs of higher vocational education, namely, Electronic InformationEngineering Technology, the Internet of Things Application Technology, ElectricalAutomation Technology, Software Technology, Computer Network Technology and MechatronicsTechnology.These majors have formed a vocational education professional group of Jiangu province,funded by the provincial finance. Our School hasbuilt jointly a provincial Electronics and Computer Application Practical TrainingBase of higher vocational education with a batch of famous enterprises, suchSiemens company, Altium company, Yidao company and Nanjing Loop co., LTD attachedto the 14th institute of electronic industry, etc.Thetraining basehas reasonable configuration ofequipment, diverse functions and scientific and innovative management,reflecting the mainstream level of the currenttechnical development. SIEE has 15 off-school training bases, which can providestudents with practical training posts to develop the practical skills of thestudents. In addition, it has cooperativelybuilt a technicalapplication research institute with the enterprises, where the students, theteachers and the enterprise engineers can research and develop together.
