On September 20th to 29th, NiuYutao, vice president of the university led a group to participate in the conference held in Serbia, Hungary, CzechRepublic, a dialogue on education policies between China and Central & Eastern Europe, the 4th conference of university league inchina and Central & Eastern Europe. They also took part in some othercommunication and visits. Yuanli, assistant to the chief of internationaleducation school, was in the delegation group.
On September 21st, a dialogue on educationpolicies was held in Serbia,the prime minister of Serbiaand Chinese education minister were present and made speeches. 49delegates from29 Chinese universities and 88 delegates from 16 countries in Central & Eastern Europe attended the meeting.
On September 22nd, the 4th conference of university league in Chinaand Central & Eastern Europe was held, Chinese education minister, Serbiandepartment chief of educational technology and science development, mayor of Novi Sad, president of University of Novi Sade,participated in the conference and delivered speeches. This conference centeredaround 3 topics for discussion, i.e., cooperation in depth among universitiesfor facilitating the joint cultivation of talents specialized in applicationtechnology for “One Belt, One Road”, secondly, cooperation among universitiesof the league in terms of course design, scientific research, languageteaching, cultural exchange. Thirdly, turnover and resource integration. At theconference, on behalf of Jiangsu Open University, Niuyutao participated in thesigning ceremony, marking our official entrance to the league.
During the meeting, our delegates had communication with other delegates from abroad; NiuYutao introduced our theoryof school management, characteristics, our advantages in lifelong education andvocational training, our intention of expanding international cooperation.During their stay in Central & Eastern Europe, delegation group paid visitsto the university of Nov Sad, universityof Belgrade, universityof Szeged, the top university in Hungary, Universityof Czech Charlie, University oftechnology in Liberec , top researchuniversities of Hungarian Human R3esources Department and Europe.With foreign universities, we had a detailed discussion on specialties, onlinecourse construction, teacher cultivation and students exchange.
