On the afternoon of 29th September, Doctor Wright, head of international affairs school of Cabrini University, USA and Mr.ZhangYi, director of international student’s enrollment department visited our university for the purpose of enhancing mutual understanding and establishing cooperative relationship between the two universities. Wu Guanglin, vice president of university received our guests and had a discussion, Gengqiang,head of media and design school, SunXu, director of resource constructioncenter and some related personnel participated.
President Wu expressed his worm welcome to the guests and introduced basic information of the university. He said, we are willing to develop international cooperation and communication with Cabrini.Doctor Wright also shared with us the basic information of Cabrini which is located in Philadelphia USA.It is a university in beautiful residential style, subordinated to Comcast, the world biggest media group, parallel toworld-famous Dream Works, Camp-bell Soup.
In view of the close association with US movie & media industry and the characteristics of school running, both sides get involved in a discussion on issues like specialty construction of our media school and cooperation on student’s cultivation. GenQiang focused on the basicsituation in his school, raising a suggestion that they start up cooperation in school running on the basis of credit transfer. Doctor Wright said they he would play an active role in propelling the project. Meanwhile, both sides explored the possibility of students exchange and teacher training.
Finally, guested looked around our school, our advanced electronic facilities and professional level impressed them. Doctor Wright said he was looking forward to our cooperation in course recording and online course creation for mutual benefit.
