From December10th to 12th,the third provincial college military micro-course teaching competition was carried out on Xianlin Campus, Nanjing normal university. YinXing, a teacher from school of liberal education won the firstprize.
This competition aimed to implement the reform of students’ military training proposed by the state education department and improve the teaching quality formilitary courses. The competition was sponsored by Jiangsu Provincial education department and organized by the directory council of Jiangsu college military education, teachers from across the province on full-time and part-time missionof military course teaching participated in it.
The competition went into two parts: video preliminary contest and final on the spot. After the preliminary evaluation by experts in early November, 30 teachers were entitled to the final. They lectured on the spoton the contents and according to the order determined by drawing lots. Their lectures lased 8 to 10 minutes and judges gave grades on the spot. Yin Xing achieved the first prizewith her excellent performance.
This competition has strengthened the communication and exchange among teachers ofmilitary theory from different colleges and will being benefits to enhancing teaching quality and standardizing our working procedures of military education.
