On April 3, 2018, the university-level research institutions evaluation and evaluation was held on Ding Huai-gate campus, the Executive Building, in the 3rd conference room, on the 2nd floor. 5 professors from Southeast University, Nanjing Normal University,Nanjing University of Technology, Jinling Institute of Science, and other peer universities acted as experts in this review. 6 scientific research institutions including the Institute of Environmental Pollution Detection and management, the Institute of Urban Image dissemination, the Joint Research Institute of LED technology application, the supply chain and logistics Information Technology Institute,the Institute of Engineering Management, the Institute of Architectural Decoration Design, reported their achievements, problems in Science and Technology research and development, production since 2013 when the Institute was established and follow-up plans. In the past 5 years, the 6 research institutes,havebeen conducting a total of 23 vertical projects, 35 horizontal projects, financedby a project fund of 2.903 million, they have published 122 academic papers, ofwhich 63 were the core papers, in addition, they have published 5 monographs, 52authorized intellectual property projects, including 2 inventions.
Review experts listened to the report carefully, after a detailed review of the assessment materials they made an assessment on their achievements,1 institute was rated excellent, 2 were rated good, 3 were rated qualified.Experts also suggested that the Institute should further clarify the functionsof the future, adjust the positioning, with a cohesion of research direction,pay close attention to research hotspots, further strengthen the cooperation ofindustry and university, serve the development needs of SMEs, carry out technical services.
The new research will revolve on the maindirection of university’s scientific research, adjust the research direction combining the research foundation and the superiority , enlarging investment onthe key cultivation in an effort to construct a high level Off-campus research platform.
