In April, 2018, Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education publicized the result of Jiangsu Higher Education Important Research Projects on Philosophy and Social Science. “A Research on Strategies of Jiangsu Life-long Learning”, a project hosted by Professor Peng Kunming from JSOU was rated the “Outstanding Project”. Only 39 projects meet the closing requirements this year, among which only 13 were rated the “Outstanding Projects”.“A Research on Strategies of Jiangsu Life-long Learning” was approved in June, 2015. Professor Peng built a team of 20 researchers. The team issued a consulting report themed “Proposals on Building Jiangsu Life-long Education System” and an investigation report themed “Status Analysis on Building Jiangsu Life-long Education System”, and published 12 thesis papers.
