On August 20, the “Manicure and Hand & Foot Care Career Qualification Standard Seminar” was held in JSOU. Invited by Credit Bank Center, Gu Xiaoran, Vice President and Secretary of China Hair and Beauty Association (CHBA), Wang Jian, President of Jiangsu Hair and Beauty Association (JSHBA), Sun Junfei, President of Suzhou Hair and Beauty Association, Vice President of CHBA, and Principal of Jiangsu Jinsha chain training school were present at the seminar.
Ms. Gu Weien, national referee and director of Manicure Branch of JSHBA, made a report on the development, guideline, and main contents of the qualification standard, and sought advice from the present experts on specific ability level, classification and further development, etc. Zhang Xuan, Director of Credit Bank Center made a report on the idea of building a qualification frame, and the significance of this frame in promoting academic education and non-academic education, regulating training market, and directing the industry employment. Wang Zheng, assistant dean of School of Health and Retirement Education, made a supplementary report on the development of the standard. Lan Yaming, Vice President of JSOU was present at the seminar, and conferred with the experts.
The seminar had a heated discussion on developing the qualification standard. The development of career qualification standard of manicure and hand & foot care industry is expected to push the construction of qualification frame standard of provincial and even the national level.
