The first conference of the Teaching Resources Construction Committee (TRCC) of National Open Vocational Education Association (NOVEA) was held at JSCVC on July 29 to 30. The conference aimed at advancing the job of the committee, perfecting the working system, and making work plan.
Wang Guochuan, the Secretary of NOVEA and the deputy director of Industry Supervisory Committee of National Ministry of Education, made a speech at the conference. He analyzed the key points and difficulties of the reform of vocational education, introduced the revision of national professional teaching standard of vocational education, and put forward some suggestions for the job of TRCC.
Cui Xinyou, director of TRCC and president of JSCVC came up with basic working ideas focusing on “what to construct” and “how to construct”. He pointed that in an era of industrialization, information, and automation, the teaching resources are supposed to be constructed with features, shared with integrated planning, and hence to boost development.
Li Shuo, deputy director of TRCC, and Chief Editor of National Open University Press and Media Group, made an introduction on the drafting of working regulations and development plan.
Yang Cuiyou, deputy secretary of TRCC, and dean of Financial Department of Guangdong Science and Technology Vocational College, made a report on “Resources Construction of Modern Apprentice Courses”.
Zhu Changchun, dean of School of Business in JSCVC made a report on “Applicationand Innovation of Jiangsu Universities’ Brand Specialty Resources Construction”.
Luo Xiaoye, dean of Electro-mechanic Engineering School of Hangzhou Science and Technology Vocational College, made a report.
SongYing, Ni Wei, and Shi Guiming from National Open University Press and Media Group made an introduction about the service they provided for vocational education resources construction.
KuangGuiqiu, executive director of NOVEA, and general manager of National Open University Press and Media Group made a summary speech of the conference.
There are 85 experts and principals from 28 vocational colleges and industries present at the conference.
