On September 21, the Mid-Autumn celebration party was held in JSCVC. Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President Jin Lixia attended the party. Heads from each school and relevant departments and a total of 120 students from other provinces and ethnic minorities attended the party. The party was held by the Students’ Union.
At the beginning of the party, the Students’ Union and all the teachers and students celebrated the birthday of those students who were born on recent dates by accompanying them to make wishes, blow candles and sharing birthday cakes. The freshmen were moved by the considerate arrangements.
The hall was full of audience. A student representative from Tibet sang a folk song of her hometown. She said she had got adapted to living on plain area, enjoyed the life here and got well along with her fellow students. After that, other students introduced themselves and shared the unique customs and cultures of their hometown and their ideas about college life.
Some other teachers and students joined and showed their talents as well. Their wonderful performance won cheers and applauses from the audience. The party was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Jin Lixia joined in the games and performance and had dumplings symbolizing reunion with everyone. She wished the freshmen to have a good celebration of the festival with the care and love from college and wished them to live and study happily in JSCVC and JSOU.
