On September 27, the ninth “FLTRP Cup” National University Foreign Language Teaching Competition and Jiangsu Micro Course Competition Conference was held in JSOU. Pro. Li Xiaoxiang, chairman of Jiangsu University Foreign Language Teaching and Research Institute, Pro. Wang Haixiao from Nanjing University and other experts were present.
Lan Yaming, Vice President of JSOU met with the present judges and experts, introduced the development of our university and expressed his gratitude the experts for their support and concern of the foreign language teaching and course construction of our university.
There were 74 projects participated in the competition, among which 32 projects were from undergraduate universities, 24 from vocational colleges and 18 from minority languages.
FLTRP Cup is co-sponsored by Shanghai Foreign Language Teaching and Research Publishing House and Jiangsu University Foreign Language Teaching and Research Institute, and is held under the guidance of Education Department of Jiangsu Province. The competition aims to motivate the foreign language teachers in Jiangsu to apply advanced teaching philosophy and teaching methods into teaching, and get involved in digital teaching resources construction, innovate teaching modes, and improve teaching effects. The competition in this year opens for 5 languages ——English, Japanese, German, Russian and French, and provides a good platform for the reform and development of foreign language teaching in Jiangsu province.
