On September 26, a training program in developing rural education was successfully held in Nanjing by the Service and Instruction Center of Social Education in Jiangsu and the Rural Adult Education Committee of Chinese Adult Education Association. The program officially launched the project of country revitalization boosted with community education. Officials from Education Department of Jiangsu and Nanjing Education Bureau were present. A total of 260 representatives from Jiangsu rural areas attended the program.
The program focused on developing the theories and practice in rural community education, building a coordination mechanism, and integrating social capitals and educational resources in different areas.
Wu Jin, the deputy director of Service and Instruction Center of Social Education in Jiangsu, and vice president of JSOU, Wang Enming, from Community College of Hedong District in Linyi City Shandong Province made special reports. All the representatives had a field investigation in the rural education service base in Jiangning.
