On October 11, a vocational college delegation of 10 from the U.S visited JSOU. Vice presidents of JSOU Lan Yaming and Niu Yutao accepted the delegation. The Department of International Cooperation and Communication of JSOU held a symposium with the delegation.
Vice president Niu Yutao made a brief report entitled “JSOU at the New Starting Point”, and introduced the development and international cooperation of JSOU. The representatives of the delegation introduced their colleges and showed their interest in the distance education of our university. Vice president Lan Yaming made an introduction focused on the issues of “co-ops”, on-line course construction, “Bi-tutoring” management system, students’ age grouping, etc. The delegation visited the Media Construction Center of JSOU and watched the bilingual micro-lesson of Calligraphy Course, which helped them better understand the online teaching mode.Both parties look forward to a further cooperation.
