On the evening of October 16, a concert named “Music of Poems and Dreams”was successfully held in the stadium of JSOU. The concert was co-sponsored by Ministry of Education, Ministry of Tourism and Ministry of Finance. More than 2,000 teachers and students watched the performance. Jin Lixia, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of JSOU were present at the concert. The concert lasted for 2 hours, presenting the audience with joyful visual and audial sensation and a wonderful cultrual feast.
The concert began with the majestic chorus “River Flows East”. A total of 18 songs, Chinese and foreign, ancient and modern were sung by the talented singers. The audience got soon immersed in music and attracted by the amazing performance.
The concert gave the students access to classic music and music masters. In the future, JSOU will provide more opportunities for college students to have access to classic culture by introducing more excellent cultural programs.
