The sixth field and track sports meet of JSOU was held on Yingtian Campus from October 26 to 27.
The opening ceremony was held on the morning of October 26. All university leaders were present at the ceremony. Jin Lixia, the Deputy Party Secretary hosted the ceremony. Wang Jianming, the Party Secretary announced the opening of the sports meet.
Cui Xinyou, President of JSOU made a speech entitled “Enjoy Sports; Pursue Dreams”, in which he said, sports entailed youth and energy, perseverance and wisdom, health and happiness, prosperity and hope. He hoped that all the teachers and students get involved in sports activities, enjoy sports, exercise their body and discipline their will. He also raised hope for all referees to be devoted to their duties, obey the rules, and judge fairly, all the athletes respect the rules, other competitors and judges.
Then, representatives of referees and athletes made their pledges.
After that, 12 teams from different schools and departments marched in and representatives of teachers and students gave a wonderful performance.
On October 27, the sports meet was closed. Jin Lixia, Deputy Party Secretary and Vice President of JSOU made a speech at the closing ceremony, expressing warm congratulations for winners and hearted thanks for all working staffs and audience. You Jiachun, Vice President announced the list of winners. Other school leaders presented awards to the winners and teams.
