On November 16, 2018 Annual Academic Conference of Jiangsu Higher Education Committee was held in Yancheng City. The theme of this year’s conference is “Modernization of Higher Education: Popularization and Development of Jiangsu Higher Education in 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up”. Cui Xinyou, President of JSOU and deputy director of Jiangsu Higher Education Committee hosted the conference. More than 300 representatives from over 40 universities and colleges attended the conference.
At the conference, Wang Chengbin, the deputy director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education made a keynote speech entitled “Challenge and Reform of Jiangsu Higher Education in New Era”.
Jiangsu Higher Education Committee holds an annual conference each year ever since it was founded. The conference has been considered an academic feast for higher education. This year, the conference consisted 28 sections of keynote speech, university principals’ forum, and graduate students’ seminar, etc.
