On the evening of November 29, in the stadium on Yingtian Campus, more than 300 freshmen had a lecture given by Zhang Yunquan, an outstanding alumnus and the image ambassador of JSOU. Deputy Secretary Jin Lixia and leaders from related departments and schools attended the lecture.
Zhang Yunquan was the representative of the 17th and 18th CPC National Congress, and was awarded the title of National Moral Models and Model Worker of Jiangsu Province. Zhang’s lecture was entitled with “Never Forget National Humiliation. Strive for the National Prosperity”. In his speech, he shared with the students his personal experiences of joining the army, working for the country and serving the people. He encouraged young people to cherish the happy life and opportunity of learning, strengthen their sense of responsibility, and shoulder the task of Chinese rejuvenation.
At the end of the lecture, Deputy Secretary of JSOU, Jin Lixia made a summery speech. She pointed that Zhang Yunquan set a good example for all people, and he revealed the true meaning of being an excellent civil servant and a true role model. She hoped all the teachers and students to take a leaf out Zhang’s book.
