In order to raise the safety awareness of teachers and students, and strengthen their ability in handling emergencies and providing self and mutual medical aid, a safety first aid demonstration was put on in the Yingtian Stadium on December 11. More than 300 teachers and students watched the demonstration.
By means of lectures, hands-on operation, and on-site interaction, students learned about some basic first-aid skills, such as CPR, and wound dressing, etc.
JSOU attached more importance to students’ safety education. Since October in 2017, with the help of Nanjing Red Cross Training Center, JSOU has opened monthly training class for the students among whom altogether 449 students have gotten the lifeguard certificates.
