On April 11, a delegation of JSOU led by vice president Zhang Xiao visited Chaozhou Institute of Technology(CIT) and Changzhou University (CU), and made an investigation in their industry-university-research cooperation.
In Changzhou Institute of Technology, Zhou Quanfa, deputy secretary and vice president as well as the other leaders from related departments were present at the seminar. Zhou Quanfa made an introduction on the development, achievement, cooperation with industries, talents training, discipline construction and scientific research of CIT. Zhang Xiao expressed her appreciation for the warm reception of CIT, introduced the development and achievements of JSOU in aspects of discipline construction, mode reform of talents cultivation and scientific research, and hoped to learn their advanced experience of cooperation with industries.
In Changzhou University, the delegation visited the College of Petrochemical Technology, VR center, innovation center and the heritage museum, and well learned their approaches in industry-university-research cooperation and their achievements. Su Xuping, vice president of Changzhou University introduced the scientific research and discipline construction of CU. After that, the delegates had deep communication with the heads of corresponding department.
Zhang Xiao required the head of each department to borrow the experience from two universities into their own job, and promote the development of our university.
