On April 4, a delegation from Tencent JSQQ.COM paid a visit to JSOU, and had a survey of university-enterprise cooperation. The delegation consisted of president Ai Fang, vice president Shi Kechuan, director of education Li Wenjun, dean of Tencent Penguin New Media College Wang Siwen, director of school-enterprise cooperation department Ma Ziqiang. Director of JSOU resource construction department Sun Xu and deputy director of discipline construction department Tang Rong received the delegation and attended the discussion section.
The delegation visited the all-media control center, Wenhua course center, broadcast hall and cloud classroom, and was deeply impressed with the advanced resource construction facilities and equipment. After that, Sun demonstrated the functions of online teaching platform and was positive about the prospects of cooperation between Tencent and JSOU in degree education, social training and other areas. Tang Rong introduced the academic setting policies, talents training requirements of universities, and the management mode and teaching mode of JSOU. She proposed to borrow the cooperation mode of British Open University and BBC by fully integrating resources, conducting hands-on projects in holidays and exploring a new cooperation mode between adult education universities and enterprises.
Ai Fang introduced the founding and running of Tencent Penguin New Media College, and looked forward to cooperating with JSOU.
