JSOU and Jiangsu Traffic Technician College Signed Framework Agreement for Comprehensive Cooperation in Running Schools

On May 21, JSOU and Jiangsu Traffic Technician College (JSTTC) signed Framework Agreement for Comprehensive Cooperation in Running Schools. JSOU president Cui Xinyou, vice president Zhang Xiao, JSTTC party secretary Zeng Zhengde, president Sima Huawei, vice president Chen Wei and vice president Yang Xueru, as well as leaders of relevant departments of JSOU and JSTTC were present at the signing ceremony. Vice president of JSOU Wu Zhongning presided the ceremony. 

At the ceremony, Cui Xinyou delivered a hearted welcome speech to Zeng Zhengde and his party. He introduced 40 years’ development history of JSOU, and said that constructing vocational education group was a new path for JSOU in exploring modern vocational education system under open university framework. Cooperation with JSTTC promoted the fusion of vocational education, open education, degree education and vocational skills training, and facilitated the cultivation of highly-competent practical talents. 

Zeng Zhengde was full of confidence and hope in the cooperation with JSOU. He said that both schools had close cooperation ever since, which helped JSTTC broaden professional settings, enhance students’ employment competence, and develop new ideas for education. Zeng Zhengde wished that JSOU and JSTTC would deepen exchanges and cooperation.  

Then both parties signed the Framework Agreement for Comprehensive Cooperation, Protocol for Enrollment Management, Agreement for Discipline Construction and Cooperation, and Agreement for Students’ Status Management and Learning Outcomes Transformation. The agreements signing not only started the prelude of strategic cooperation between JSOU and JSTTC, but also symbolized that JSOU vocational education group had set a whole coverage of technician colleges, secondary vocational schools, high vocational colleges and applied undergraduate universities, and provided a model for further cooperation among the vocational education group.
