Invited by Cao Chang, general manager of Maomao New Media Limited. Company, a team of three led by Sun Xu, director of JSOU Resources Construction Center, visited the company and communicated on new media running experience.
Responding to the call of the national government to converge media resources, Nanjing Broadcasting Corporation set up Maomao New Media Ltd Company in 2014. As a state-holding mixed ownership company, it shares good brand reputation, rich broadcasting means, and large audience of Nanjing Broadcasting Corporation, and enjoys advanced technique skills of internet company as well as the innovative ability of a private enterprise. The company has developed an APP “In Nanjing” integrating functions of TV broadcasting, live video broadcasting, information, community, e-business and auction, and has built up a complete work system of media integration. Ever since May in 2015, the APP has more than one million registered users, and preliminarily transferred the media audiences to platform users.
JSOU and Maomao reached an initial agreement on promotion of social education and had a further discussion on how to integrate and promote social education resources on the APP and confirmed the initial cooperation projects like uploading and promoting course resources on “In Nanjing” and other apps.
