On May 27, outstanding alumni Wang Yihua, Su Shigong and Xu Bo paid a homecoming visit to JSOU, their Alma Mater. Wang Yihua now is the executive deputy director of Nanjing Municipal Judicial Bureau, and ever worked as deputy director of Nanjing Legislative Office. Su Shigong ever worked as president of Textile Branch College of JSOU. Xu Bo ever worked as a teacher of Textile Branch College. Jin Lixia, deputy secretary and vice president of JSOU and Liu Tao, deputy director of Students Affairs Office attended the symposium.
Wang Yihua expressed his gratitude and best wishes to the school, and looked forward to the 40th anniversary of JSOU. Jin Lixia introduced the 40-year development of our university and the preparation work of the alumni association and the 40th anniversary ceremony.
Wang Yihua recalled his study time in JSOU when learning conditions were hard and poor, students learned with radios and recorders, but school provided them first-class learning materials, qualified teachers, and strict and demanding tests. Students studied with enthusiasm and high spirits, and laid solid foundation for their future study and work. The learning experience and degree education they had in JSOU played a very important role in their life and work. He proposed that JSOU extract its running philosophy through a series of alumni activities and further strengthen ties with government and society, which would make JSOU more well known by the whole society and enrich the history of JSOU.
After the symposium, the three alumni said they would keep on contributing their wisdom and strength to the development of JSOU, and mobilize more alumni to take part in the celebration activities of the 40th anniversary.
