On July 15 to 18, the 8th Jiangsu “Internet+” College Students’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Changzhou University. The project “Smart Window and Gate Based on AIoT Technology” by the team of School of Information and Electromechanical Engineering won the second prize. The project “Modern Property Service” by Wang Yun’s team won the third prize. This was the best result JSOU had ever achieved.
The competition attracts more than 42,000 projects from 167 universities and colleges in Jiangsu Province, and is the most widely participated competition which marks the highest level of Jiangsu college students’ innovation ability and entrepreneurship. After rounds of selection, 250 projects from 138 universities and colleges went into the final competition, and more than 1,700 participants took the defense.
JSOU attached great importance to this competition, and finally selected 3 out of 155 projects submitted by the secondary schools. The Division of Education invited experts to supervise and support the teams before the competition.
JSOU highly evaluates college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship education, and will take this competition as a good opportunity to perfect the talents cultivation mode and deepen the education reform.
