On October 12, the opening ceremony of the Photograph Exhibition of Veteran Comrades from Nanjing Universities was held in JSOU. The exhibition was to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. Cui Xinyou, president of JSOU presided the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Nearly 200 veteran comrades from 23 universities attended the ceremony.
In his speech, Cui Xinyou welcomed the guests on behalf of JSOU, and expressed warm congratulations on the opening of the exhibition. He introduced the history and development of JSOU, and the features and advantages of our university. He placed emphasis on the degree education, education of the Aged, and social education, and introduced the fruitful achievements of education of the Aged by taking the example of Zhang Huanguo, who got his bachelor’s degree at 88 years old.
132 photographs were displayed at the exhibition, demonstrating the veterans’ exquisite photograph skills, reflecting their love to their motherland, and carrying forward the Chinese culture.
