On October 10-11, Wu Zhongning, vice president and his team went to Yangzhou Open University and Jiangdu Open University to have a field investigation on community education construction.
Chen Yahong, vice president of Yangzhou Open University made a brief introduction of YZOU. Huang Rui, director of Yangzhou Social Education Service Center reported on community education about its system construction, operation mechanism, features, expenditure, human resources and citizens’ needs, as well as the problems they encountered and the solutions they have had. The investigation group inspected the learning base of Jiangsu social education.
In Jiangdu Open University, the investigation group listened to the report made by Zhang Zhongshu, vice president of JDOU about the history and development of the university and the school scale, local service and social education, and listened to the report by Jiang Mingfang on operation strategy, team construction, training programs, brand construction, and so on.
Wu Zhongning highly evaluated the achievements of the two universities, and proposed on system construction, service quality enhancement, development of social education.
