On the afternoon of October 28, a ceremony for activating a 100 Days’ Service Plan for 2020 graduates’ employment and business start-up was held in JSOU. HR managers from SUNING Logistic Limited Company, Starbucks Management Limited Company and some other companies were invited to attend the ceremony. Jin Lixia, deputy party secretary and vice president of JSOU, as well as leaders from Office of Students’ Affairs and other secondary schools, and graduate students from School of Business attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Jin Lixia expressed her hearted gratitude to the leaders and guests from businesses, and said that employment was considered top concern for the government and the society, and was listed as the top priority of livelihood projects. College students are encouraged to get employed or self-employed after graduation. College and functional departments are expected to make supportive policies and provide employment information, consultancy, guidance, and services.
In 2020, 7757 students will graduate from JSOU. In the coming 100 days until their graduation, a series of activities will be held to offer various services to the graduate students such as lectures given by successful alumni, consultancy offered by HR managers, resume workshops, employment orientation, and job fairs.
After the ceremony, SUNING Logistics Ltd. Co., and Shang Hai Starbucks Management Ltd. Co. publicized their recruitment information and introduced their wanted positions, enterprise culture, and their achievements through cooperation with JSOU.
