On November 18, the ceremony of Strategic Framework Agreement Signing and Founding of JSOU-SUNING College was co-held by JSOU, China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CFLP) and SUNING Group in Dinghuamen Campus. The responsible personnel of CFLP, SUNING Logistic Group, and SUNING Group, vice president of JSOU Wu Guanglin and Zhang Xiao, along with the directors from School Office, Department of Education, Science and Technology Department and Enrollment Department attended the ceremony. Wu Zhongning presided over the ceremony and delivered a speech.
Wu Guanglin introduced the history, running orientation, and the situation of talents cultivation of JSOU, and reviewed the exploration with SUNING Group ever since 2009 in school- enterprise cooperation, and business-education integration. Now, a new mode of “working with famous enterprises for higher quality, through whole process and with deep integration” has been formed for talents cultivation of logistics management. Preliminary results have been achieved in the fields of logistics professional qualification certification, setting logistics teaching standards, and professional logistics management standards and construction of 1+X logistics management system under the State Council, etc. ever since the cooperation with CFLP.
Ren Haoxiang, vice president of the CFLP and director of the National Logistics Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee, said that JSOU has played an exemplary and radiation role in the construction of logistics specialty, the innovation of talent training mode, distance teaching, the opening of digital resources and the construction of credit banks, which has set an example for the logistics management specialty in the country. It is expected that China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing and JSOU will continue to explore and make further cooperation in a series of reform measures, such as the pilot of 1+X certificate system, the construction of industry-education integrated enterprises, the construction of national qualification framework, and the exploration of diversified school-running system.
Zou Dongping, Director of the Human Resources Center at the headquarters of Suning Logistics Group, introduced the development of Suning Holding Group which currently ranks No.333 in the world's top 500 enterprises. The establishment of Suning College of Jiangsu Open University, as an in-depth cooperation with university, has laid a solid foundation for the cultivation of characteristic talents. In the future, Suning Group will strive to form a normative system with the open university in the aspects of personnel training , exploration of the course system, deepening the fusion of industry and education, aiming to achieve an integration of industry-university-research for mutual benefits.
Cao Jiamou, honorary dean of SUNING College of Jiangsu Open University, introduced the process of establishing SUNING College and hoped that both parties would make greater achievements in terms of cooperation dimension, depth and effect in the long run.
After the meeting, Jiangsu Open University, National Logistics Vocational Education and Teaching Steering Committee and SUNING Group Co., Ltd. carried out a signing ceremony. JSCVC provides talent training service for SUNING Group Co., Ltd., SUNING provides field training and employment for teachers and students. The in-depth integration of industry and education between university and enterprise is mutually beneficial and win-win to both parties.
