On November 27, Management Center of Credit Bank (MCCB) organized experts to assess and review the project of Study Tour of Wu Culture, a fruitful result of non-degree education by the Education Center of Hongshan Community in Xinwu District, Wu Xi City. The panel of experts were constituted with Professor Gao Xiaokang, doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University and Zhongshan University, Chief Professor Wang Xiaoyang, doctoral supervisor from Southeast University and Professor Xie Dongbing from JSOU.
According to the standards and process set by “Learning Achievement Identification Methods (Trial)”, the MCCB, together with the experts assessed the project from six aspects of learning goals orientation, examination and evaluation, learning contents, quality control, supporting service, and teaching staff construction. The experts reviewed the materials and had a field investigation, listening to report by the project manager, examining files and proof materials, and offering constructive comments. After serious review and discussion, the project attained the certification, and results achieved by participants of the project will be recognized by MCCB and granted credits as equivalent to humanistic quality education courses, practical teaching of ideological and political course, or second-class activities (including holiday social practice acitivities).
