In order to accelerate the project progress, and ensure construction as scheduled, in the afternoon of March 18，JSOU held a site-coordination meeting for new campus construction in Pukou district.
Since it was officially launched at the end of last year, the construction project of the new campus, included in “2020 Major Project Investment Plan of Jiangsu” has attracted much attention from teachers and students, and has achieved preliminary results with the joint efforts of the provincial and municipal governments and relevant departments of JSOU. Although the school has not fully resumed its work and study due to the epidemic, the work related to the construction of the new campus has never ceased.
Leaders from Jiangsu Education Department, Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Pukou District, as well as party secretary of JSOU, Wang Jianming, president Cui Xinyou, vice president Niu Yutao, Director of Rear Service Department Li Jian attended the meeting. Secretary of Pukou District Party Committee presided over the meeting.
The meeting focused on the key and difficult issues of the project. Tong Jinzhou, director of the Management Committee of Pukou District Economic Development Zone, and Niu Yutao, vice president of JSOU first made introduction of the construction process. Then relevant departments in Pukou District reviewed the issues item by item and all agreed to offer support as much as possible to ensure the start of the construction as soon as possible.
Wang Chengbin, deputy director of Jiangsu Education Department, Wang Jianming, and Cui Xinyou spoke at the meeting. They expressed their hearted appreciation for the support provided by Provincial Development and Reform Commission and Pukou District government, and wished a successful and efficient completion of the new campus construction.
