On the afternoon of April 16th, JSOU signed framework agreement with Nanjing Chemical Industry Technician College (NCITC) on Dinghuaimen Campus. The signing ceremony was presided over by Wu Zhongning, vice president of JSOU. Zheng Siyan, deputy director of Social Affairs Bureau of Jiangbei New District, Zheng Jun, principal of NCITC, Jia Siyan, vice principal of NCITC, You Jiachun, vice president of JSOU, as well as directors of relevant departments of the two schools attended the ceremony.
You Jiachun warmly welcomed Zheng Siyan and his delegation and then briefly introduced the history of JSOU. He pointed out that the agreement on comprehensive cooperation will bring about a closer relationship between the two schools, and will play a positive role in building lifelong learning education system and constructing a learning-oriented society, adding that the two schools should reinforce complementary advantages and promote common development by means of opening up and cooperation. Within the framework, both sides need to adhere to norms and pursue win-win cooperation.
Zheng Siyan introduced the situation of Jiangbei New District, including its functional positioning, location advantages, industrial characteristics, and its great demand for qualified and skilled applied talents. He wished the two schools to find the right niche, give full play to their respective advantages, and achieve win-win results.
Zheng Jun introduced the history, school-running mode, discipline setting of NCITC, and expressed their vision for cooperation. He said that the comprehensive strategic cooperation with JSOU will vigorously promote their teaching quality and students’ degree level, and cultivate more practical talents for regional economic development and enterprises.
Wu Zhongning pointed out that the cooperation between the two schools shares good foundation with common goals and clear path. It is believed that through the joint efforts of strengthening communication and coordination, reforming personnel training mode, innovating the cooperation mode, and further refining the cooperation plan, the two sides will better serve the local economic and social development.
