On theafternoon of May 19, JSOU signed a business-university cooperation agreementwith three companies on the project of “Intelligent Construction and BlockchainTechnology”. The agreement signing ceremony was held on Dinghuaimen Campus. Around30 people including deans and teachers from Science and Technology Division andSchool of Architecture and Engineering as well as project leaders from TheFirst Engineering Company of Jiangsu Construction Group, Jiangsu HBJY BuildingDecoration Limited Company, and Jiangsu Wanlian Blockchain Technology Instituteattended the ceremony. Vice president of JSOU Wu Guanglin was present andspoke. The ceremony was presided over by Sun Xu, director of Science andTechnology Division.
First, professorXu De, the project leader from JSOU introduced the background, content,objectives and significance of the cooperation project, unfolding a positiveprospect of the collaborative research. The project leaders from businessesmade clarifications on key projects and issues to be solved, and looked forwardto a smooth advancement of the project which is expected to bear “fruitfulapplication results” as soon as possible.
ProfessorHou Xinyu and Hua Yongping, directors of School of Architecture Engineeringmade speeches on the technical value and application of the intelligentconstruction and blockchain, and said the school will support the project withall efforts.
Later, withthe witness of university leaders and representative teachers, professor Xu Designed cooperation contract with representatives from businesses and instituteswith a total funding of 550,000 yuan.
Vicepresident Wu Guanglin said in his speech that JSOU attached great importance toscientific research and university - business cooperation, encouraging teachersand researchers to conduct applied research and join horizontal researchprojects. School of Architecture and Engineering always takes a lead inconducting horizontal research projects, and the project of “IntelligentConstruction and Blockchain” provides theoretical and practical foundation tocarry out interdisciplinary development. He also said that the research team isexpected to focus on the demands of the businesses and to solve their realproblems.
