On May 25, the Youth League held a pep rally for the “Creative Youth” National College Students’ Business Start-up Competition.
Present at the main venue were Jin Lixia, deputy Party secretary and vice president of JSOU, members of the competition organizing committee, work group members of each school, and all staff of Youth League. Work group members of branch open universities, competition participants and Professor Lin Ling, the guest expert were present at the sub-venue. The meeting was presided over by Yin Xing, deputy secretary of Youth League. Jin Lixia, the deputy Party secretary and vice president of JSOU gave a speech, saying that as Xi Jinping, the General Secretary of Communist Party Committee pointed, the young college students play an important role in innovating and starting up businesses, and the whole society should attach importance to and support college students to innovate and initiate their businesses. JSOU held the competition to cultivate college students’ creativity and practical ability. Jin Lixia expected the participants to devote all their efforts and wisdom, the schools to make specific plan and workable schedule, the supervisors to give participants academic guidance and spiritual support, and all departments to coordinate to ensure the success of the competition.
Then Yin Xing, the deputy secretary of Youth League made a report on the preparation work and work plan of next phase.
In order to help the participants better understand the rules of the competition, Fan Jun, the former gold medal winner in 2018 was invited to share his experience and explain the rules.
Professor Lin Ling was invited to give a training to the participants. Professor Lin explained the new competition rules and the review formality, and made comments on some participants’ declaration paper.
