On June 22, Wang Jianming, Party secretary of JSOU led a team to Changzhou Institute of Technology(CIT) and had a field investigation on campus culture construction and alumni work. Jin Lixia, deputy Party secretary and vice president of JSOU joined in the investigation. Cao Yuping, Party secretary of CIT and Tang Zhenghua, president of CIT met with the delegation.
At the meeting, Wang Jianming said that campus culture is the manifestation of a college’s running philosophy and management level. JSOU aims at constructing high-level open university with prestigious school culture which featured positive spirit, well-developed system, harmonious environment, and decent behavior codes, and promoting the identification of the culture by developing school badge, running philosophy, school motto and school anthem. Those will help to generate mental power for better constructing a high-level open university and serving life-long learning. He wished JSOU could learn the advanced experiences of building campus culture from CIT.
Cao Yuping introduced the development and the construction of their campus culture from the aspects of talents training, discipline construction, social service, and culture inheritance. In recent years, he said that CIT has developed healthy, elegant, and enlightened campus culture focusing on constructing a local applied university.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the library, stadium, art center, statues of national heroes, gallery, and then School of Aviation and Mechanical Engineering.
