On August 22, the awarding ceremony of the First Yangtze River Delta Area Micro Film Competition was held in Yancheng City. Prestigious movie directors, famous actors and celebrities in literature and art circles attended the ceremony. The micro film “Power of Belief” produced by JSOU stood out from more than one thousand entries and was awarded the “Gold Jasmine Excellent Works Prize”. It was the first time that JSOU won the prize. Wang Nianchun, the director of “Power of Belief” was present at the ceremony.
More than 1000 micro films participated in the competition, covering micro movies, micro documentaries, micro comics and short videos. After 7-month review, 19 prizes were awarded.
“Power of Belief”, adapted from “Stories of Chinese Communist Party Members” published by Founder Press of China, relates the stories of Yuhua heroes who devoted their lives into the liberation and revolution of people.
