On August 23, the Third Teaching Competition for Young University Teachers of Jiangsu was successfully held in Nanjing University. This competition is also the qualification trials for the Fifth National Teaching Competition. A total of 139 teachers from 52 universities participated in the competition. After two-day competition, two teachers of JSOU, Wang Changlin from Information Engineering School and Sheng Xin from Business School won second prizes of Engineering Group and Art Group.
This teaching competition is one of the most important vocational skills competitions of Jiangsu Province. Teachers of arts, science, engineering, medicine, and ideological and political education participated in the competition and competed in three sessions of teaching design, class teaching and teaching reflection.
JSOU attached great importance to the building of young teachers, and offered support to the competition participants. This competition provides good opportunity for young teachers to improve their teaching skills and upgrade their teaching methods.
