On September 24, JSOU Cooperation Research Center for Barrier Free Environment Construction signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Promotion Association for Barrier Free Environment. Wu Guanglin, vice president of JSOU, Hua Yongping, secretary of School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Hou Xinyu, deputy dean of School of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Chen Lei, general supervisor of Shenzhen Federation of Disabled Persons, Ouyang Mingguo, vice president of Shenzhen Promotion Association for Barrier Free Environment and teachers from the research center attended the meeting.
Shenzhen Promotion Association for Barrier Free Environment is an organization composed of deputies from Shenzhen People’s Congress, CPPCC members, experts in barrier free environment, high-tech smart barrier free R&D institutes, the press and NGOs. The association has fruitful achievements in constructing barrier free city in many aspects, ranging from strategic planning, to standard system construction, to information barrier free construction, to supervision and evaluation.
The establishment of strategic cooperation marked the beginning of in-depth cooperation between JSOU Cooperation Research Center for Barrier Free Environment Construction and Shenzhen Promotion Association for Barrier Free Environment. Both parties would expand their specialized service chain, make full use of their advantages in specialization, service and technology, and integrate resources to build a better barrier free environment.
