On September 5, Wang Jianming, party secretary of JSOU had investigation in Business School. He greeted teachers and students, inquired preparation and gave further instructions for the new semester.
Wang Jianming had a forum with deans, directors and doctors from Business School. Also, approximately 30 teachers attended the forum. Since the Teacher’s day was approaching, Wang first expressed his greetings to all the teachers on behalf of JSOU party committee. Wang pointed out that with the effort of all staff in Business School, the academic, research, student affairs and administration preparation of Business School were in perfect order, which built a solid base for the work in the coming semester. Wang emphasized four points for the next semester. Firstly, all teachers should learn The Governance of China III and draw inspiration from new thoughts. The School regulation should also be improved according to the new thoughts. Secondly, the essential task of strengthening morality must be consolidated, especially in teaching morality and ideology classes. Students and teachers should all obtain the essence from the history of CPC, communist new China, reform and opening up and development of socialism. They should also enhance the faith of Four Confidence and achieve all round development. Thirdly, JSOU had bravely shouldered the responsibility of serving the national strategies and local economic development, making JSOU a first-class name in civil lifelong learning. Lastly, all staff had to work hard on the epidemic prevention and maintain the order on campus.
Zhou Xiaojun, deputy dean of Business School reported the key tasks of Business School on the forum. The director of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, the director of student affairs in Business School and a representative of young teachers reported their preparation for the semester and their career plans.
Before the forum, Wang went to students’ dorm and checked the sanitary conditions. He interviewed the students as well and encouraged them to live a healthy college life. Wang also inspected the canteen conditions. Special attention was paid to the saving of food.
