On October 28th, JSOU held event of Employment and Entrepreneurship Service for Graduates of 2021 on Yingtian campus. Liu Mengjiao, deputy human resource manager of Shanghai Construction No.1(Group) Co., Ltd, Han Weizhan, representative of self-employed alumni, directors of Student Affairs Office and schools related and some graduate students attended the ceremony.
Liu Tao, director of Student Affairs Office greeted the employers on behalf of JSOU and stated 4 requests for the graduates of 2021. Firstly, we should find the breakthrough point and increase point of the employment. Secondly, we should focus on specific students and apply targeted strategy. Thirdly, we should hold fast the limitations of the job hunting. Lastly, we should plan early and start instantly, ensuring that the graduates would get their jobs.
Liu Mengjiao made a brief introduction of Shanghai Construction No.1(Group) Co., Ltd, especially on the hiring process, the vacant positions and the welfare system. Han Weizhan, being a CPPCC member of Jianye district and also an entrepreneur, shared the difficulties and experiences in starting up one’s own business.
Wang Zhifei, deputy director of Student Affairs Office presided the ceremony. He introduced the process of the Employment and Entrepreneurship Service for Graduates of 2021 and the measures JSOU would take to help graduates. Since the campus hiring started, Student Affairs Office would hold 2 hiring events for the graduates. In terms of how to get hired, he suggested that students should be aware of their dream jobs, be self-improved and start early.
