Cooperation between School of Environment and Ecology and Jiangsu Academy of Environmental Industry and Technology Corp., Ltd.

On September 24th, Sun Xu, director of Science and Technology Division, Gan Fangqun, deputy dean of School of Environment and Ecology, Ye Haiyao, deputy secretary of School of Environment and Ecology, Huang Zhaoqin and Wei Cuilan, deputy deans of Department of Environmental Engineering and Tang Peng, deputy dean of Department of Landscape Architecture visited Jiangsu Academy of Environmental Industry and Technology Corp., Ltd. for further development of JSOU Engineering Technology R&D Center.

Wu Wei, director of Engineering Design Center greeted the visitors on behalf of the academy and introduced the company from the perspective of organizational structure, team members, academic ability and research areas. Jiangsu Academy of Environmental Industry and Technology Corp., Ltd. is a science and technology service enterprise deriving from Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Environmental Science. Its business covers the prevention and control of environmental pollution and ecological protection, which includes R&D and application of ecological and environmental protection technologies, the transformation and industrialization of high-tech achievements, management and technical consultants in the field of ecology and environmental protection. 

Sun Xu introduced current researches and projects of JSOU Engineering Technology R&D Center and mentioned that major projects in the center highly fit the research field of the company. There was much room for further communication on projects, technics and scholars.  Gan Fangqun emphasized the researchers’ study background in the Engineering Technology R&D Center on the basis of the company’s business and need and hoped JSOU and the company could support each other in all aspects.  

Representatives of the company highly praised the cultivation of teachers and the rapid improvement of scientific research and were willing to deepen cooperation in the time to come.
