On the afternoon of December 9, Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Social Science organized a launching meeting for the construction of collaborative innovation base of application research of social science in higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province. At the meeting, the Notice on the Establishment of Collaborative Innovation Base of Social Science Application Research in Higher Vocational Colleges in Jiangsu Province was announced. The project of JSOU Collaborative Innovation Base of Jiangsu Primary-level Social Governance Research was approved. Liu Dehai, Secretary of the Party group and executive vice chairman of the Provincial Federation of Social Science, announced the inauguration. Professor Cui Xinyou, President of JSOU was present，and heads of 5 bases gave speeches at the meeting. Cui Xinyou, as the chief expert of the project communicated around the working plan of the Base.
The university leaders attached great importance to the construction of the Base. By integrating the resources of Pukou Economic Development Zone and Tencent Network, the Base will innovate working mechanism, cooperate with government and enterprises, focus on the thorny issues of social and economic development in Jiangsu, and provide policy-making consulting to the development of local economy.
