On December 2nd, the Calligraphy Society of Business School held an activity to celebrate the New Year in Classroom 103 of the Teaching Building on Gupinggang Campus. The activity was hosted by Wang Mo, one of the student leaders of the society. Wang Jianming, secretary of the Party committee of JSOU, Luo Yin, deputy director of the Organization Department, Yuan Shourong, secretary of the Party branch of Business School, as well as teachers and members of the society participated in the activity.
At the activity, the young calligraphers created their calligraphy works of poetic couplets themed on Spring Festival, the lunar New Year and the most important traditional festival in China. Wang Jianming communicated with the members of the society, learning about the routine practice and growth of the society, and brought forward proposals and expectation to the society members. According to him, young calligraphers are expected to practice diligently, display and inherit the traditional Chinese art. In the end, the members presented their works to the teachers which carry their best wishes for the coming new year.
