JSOU Held the First Student Affairs Conference for Spring Semester, 2021

On March 4th, JSOU held the first Student Affairs conference for the new semester. Jin Lixia, deputy secretary of JSOU Party committee attended the conference. Deans of departments concerned, secretaries of the general branch of the Communist Youth League and all the directors of student affairs office in each school attended as well. Liu Tao, dean of the Student Affairs Office presided over the conference. 

At the conference, Jin Lixia summed up the characteristics of student work in the winter vocation and praised the hard work that teachers devoted to student affairs. On the new semester, she put forward three specific requirements. Firstly, we should target the main task and plan the major work for 2021. Secondly, we should actively participate in the learning of Party history and gain spiritual strength from history study. Thirdly, we should focus on the campus management, ensuring the security and stability of the campus. She hoped that all the student affairs staff would carry forward the spirit of diligent and hardworking, keep the sense of responsibility and creativity and make unremitting efforts. 

The School of Environment and Ecology shared the experiences for students’ voluntary service during the winter vocation. The School of Information and Electrical Engineering exchanged on the issue for caring for students on the spot during the Spring Festival. Other departments arranged their jobs accordingly. The Propaganda Department emphasized the ideological management. The Student Affairs Office reported the returning condition of the students. The Youth League Committee put forward the requirements for the recent open class for hundred-year beliefs. The Logistics Department informed the tuberculosis related information and shared effective prevention methods. The Security Department informed the security situation, reminding to ensure political safety on campus.
