On March 4th, JSOU held the implementation meeting for campus, enterprise park and community interaction in order to promote the interaction in 2021. More than 20 people attended the meeting, including deans of Science and Technology Division, Organization Department, Human Resources Office, Propaganda Department, Dean’s Office and leaders of each school. Wu Guanglin, vice president of JSOU presided over the meeting.
Wang Jianming, secretary of JSOU Party Committee made important instructions to the meeting, pointing out that we should learn the history of CPC, understand the ideology, handle concrete affairs and create a new prospect. All JSOU members should make efforts to complete the tasks in the opening year of the 14th Five-Year Plan, following the rules of combinations and integration. In contrast with President Xi Jinping’s important exposition on education, in accordance with the requirements of Jiangsu Party Committee, we should keep pushing forward the task of building a high level open university as the main line.
Wang Jianming also put forward three instructions for the interaction among campus, community and enterprise park. Firstly, we should keep up the pace with the development of Jiangbei New Area, focusing on Pukou Economic Development Zone, and Qiaolin Community. Plans should be made in advance and collaboration between alumni enterprises and schools should be constructed accordingly. Secondly, schools should mobilize all the staff, form characteristics and brands and accumulate high-quality achievements. Thirdly, supporting departments should strengthen the service awareness, deepen the reform in simplifying procedure and further emancipate the minds.
Wu Guanglin made a concluding speech and arranged the following work. At the meeting, each school made a detailed report on the previous implementation and focused on the specific measures for 2021. Wang Jianming and Wu Guanglin gave positive comments on the efforts and achievements. The heads of the Dean’s office, Organization Department, Propaganda Department and Discipline Construction Division also delivered their reports.
