Recently, Report on 2020 Quantitative Assessment of College Graduates’ Employment among Colleges in Jiangsu was published by Department of Education of Jiangsu Province, among which JSOU was rated as a grade A college and was commended.
2020 is an extraordinary year. Under the pressure of the epidemic and severe employment situation, JSOU attached great importance to the employment of 2020 graduates. JSOU held 25 research symposia on employment, conscientiously implemented the national and provincial policies and promoted the employment of college graduates.
JSOU strived to expand the employment market, actively carried out online and offline job fairs and held targeted job fairs for alumni enterprises, providing continuous employment services for graduates. A dynamic and accurate survey of the graduates’ employment trends and demands was carried out in order to do a better job in the classified guidance of graduates. Specific employment information from employment platforms such as 24365 and 91Job was accumulated and delivered to graduates. Key assistance was also devoted to graduates from low-income families, ethnic minorities, and the disabled and disadvantaged.
According to the time node, the employment progress was reported daily, weekly and every ten days while the employment information was reviewed daily. With the joint effort of all branch schools, JSOU completed all the tasks and promote the employment of 2020 graduates.
In the future, JSOU would keep implementing the relevant policies and constantly sum up experience and innovative methods so as to strive for a new level of graduates’ employment and entrepreneurship.
