On February 27th, JSOU students came back from home for the first time in 2021. With the help of the staff, students from other provinces safely returned to the long-separated campus.
In order to ensure the smooth and orderly work of students’ returning to school in the spring semester, on February 25th, JSOU held the special meeting arranging the epidemic prevention and control work. Cui Xinyou, president of JSOU emphasized two requirements. First, all staff should raise the awareness and be responsible all the time. Second, JSOU should strengthen joint prevention and control. On the basis of performing their respective duties, Logistics Department, Security Department, Student Affairs Office and Dean’s Office should fulfill their duties as well as cooperate with each other.
On the morning of the returning day, Wang Jianming, party secretary of JSOU and other leaders of JSOU came to the inspection points at the school gates. They carefully inquired about the preparation and talked with the staff from departments concerned. The key to the epidemic prevention lied in details. Wang Jianming pointed out that it was necessary to strictly implement the higher authorities’ requirements and life safety and health of all the teachers and students were the top priority. The staff should be well-prepared and responsible, paying close attention to the mental and physical health of students.
The inspection points on campus were divided into several parts, waiting area, registration area, sampling area and disinfection area. On arriving at the campus gate, students should show their green code, measure their body temperature and enter the campus with their ID card and student card. After their entering, nucleic acid detection was carried out orderly, followed by the registration and sampling process. When all the inspection were done, students could eventually enter their dormitory and start their new semester life.
