On April 22, JSOU Science and Technology Department and Business School went to Gulou High Tech Zone to hold a forum with Management Committee of the zone on appointing teachers to serve temporary positions in the zone. Zhou Bing, deputy director of Management Committee of Gulou High Tech Zone, presided over the forum. Heads of the related departments, namely Duan Yan, director of Enterprise Service Department of the zone, Zhang Yuqi, director of University Liaison Department of the zone, Sun Xu, director of JSOU Science and Technology Division, Zhou Xiaojun, deputy dean of JSOU Business School, Zhu Mingming, teacher who would take the temporary position in the zone, and other staff attended the forum as well.
Zhou Bing briefly introduced Gulou High Tech Zone. Based on Gulou National University Science and Technology Park, Gulou High Tech Zone integrates 7 science and technology parks, including Jiangdong Software City, Mofan Road Science and Technology Innovation Block, and Mufu Innovation Town. The zone is also a national science and technology cooperation base. There are almost 5000 enterprises in the zone now. Zhou Bing expressed that the committee hoped to achieve a win-win situation with universities through thorough communication and coordination. He also expressed support and thanks to JSOU for appointing teachers to the park for temporary positions.
Sun Xu gave a brief introduction of JSOU and explained objectives and requirements for campus, community and enterprise park interaction in detail. He emphasized the meaning of appointing teachers to take temporary positions.
Zhou Xiaojun showed characteristics and arrangements for discipline construction and the strengths in Business School.
Duan Yan explained the work of Enterprise Service Department, mainly focusing on enterprise cultivation and introduction, serving R&D departments and applying awards for them.
Zhu Mingming made a self-introduction and promised that she would make every effort in doing a good job. Her temporary task would start on May 6, 2021 and lasted for one year.
Finally, Zhou Bing summarized the forum and both partied held further discussion on future cooperation.
