On April 18, the 12th Lan Qiao Cup, the largest professional computer contest in China, was held in 30 provinces and autonomous regions. School of Information and Electrical Engineering appointed 7 contests from grade 2019 and 2020 to participate in the C/C++ and Java competition of group C of software class. After 3 months of preparation, 20 days of intensive training and 4 hours of competition, and under the guidance of professional teachers, JSOU contests won excellent prizes. Sun Weile from grade 2019 won the 1st prize and other students won 2nd and 3rd prizes.
Lan Qiao Cup is a national university IT professional competition sponsored by Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It was listed in the national normal university discipline competition list in 2019. More than 75,000 contestants from more than 1300 universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University participated in the competition. Lan Qiao Cup was divided into 7 events including C/C++ programming, Java software development, python, MCU design and development, embedded design and development, Internet of things design and development, EDA design and development.
School of Information and Electrical Engineering has formed a relatively complete discipline competition training process and competition echelon training system, including mobilization, preparation planning, organization and implementation, follow-up supervision and summary. With joint efforts from teachers and contests, the school has gradually completed the construction of resource library covering introduction, intensive explanation, refinement, improvement and training sprint.
