On May 19th and May 20th, a seminar on the establishment of a standard system for recognition and conversion of learning results from Credit Bank for open education in the Yangtze River Delta was held in Nanjing. Leaders from each Credit Bank Administration Center in the area, experts and staff related attended the seminar.
On May 20th, Wu Zhongning, JSOU vice president presented at the meeting and gave a speech. He pointed out that, the Credit Bank, as a key part in the lifelong learning system, undertook the task of exploring a system of recognition, accumulation and conversion of open learning results. Through the cross-regional service platform, the Credit Bank for Open University realized the exchange and sharing of learning results and resources. He hoped the experts could offer more constructive suggestions for Open Education on the basis of criteria construction by Shanghai Credit Bank.
At the meeting, Jiangsu Credit Bank Administrative Committee for Open Education released the tasks and requirements for expert group members of Administration Management and Accounting in Credit Bank in the Yangtze River Delta. Experts present therefore organized their schedules and tasks accordingly.
In addition, Shen Yan, deputy director of Shanghai Academic Credit Transfer and Accumulation Bank for Lifelong Education, and Wang Xiaojun, director of Certificate Education Accreditation Department in Shanghai, shared their experience in the construction of 2020 annual standards and introduced the problems encountered and their solutions in the construction.
The standard system for recognition and conversion of learning results from credit bank for open education in Yangtze River Delta consists of several parts, course systems, course introductions, recognition criteria and its relationship with vocational training certificates. The system is created to guide the credit recognition and transfer for open universities, self-study examination and other universities in the Yangtze River Delta.
